Mrs. Lowe – “Time Will Tell” by Robert Cray Band
“I specifically love the song ‘Time Makes Two’, my first date with my husband was to the Hollywood Bowl to see Robert Cray. We see him together whenever we can, he’s just so cute! I’d be happy to lend anyone this CD if anyone likes the blues, just ask me!”
Mrs. Hetrick – Any album by Bruce Springstein
“One of my closest college friends was from New Jersey. We used to see him in concert whenever he was in town! Listening to him just reminds me of my college experience, that feeling of being away from home and my memories of being out on my own for the first time.”
Mr. Mac – “Caress of Steel” by Rush
“This is a concept album, it’s just two songs. Each song is thirty minutes long, it’s an epic poem in music form. I love it because it’s a fantasy novel in the form of a record.”
Mrs. Hicks – “The Foundation” by Zac Brown Band
“It’s a fun summer hangout, like when you’re in the pool with the people you love, listening to good music and just relaxing. Or it’s a good camping album, spending time in nature and getting away from your busy life to just spend time outdoors. I think it’s such a great album because it reminds me to slow down and take in the quiet, relaxing moments of summer.”
Mrs. Mead - “Punisher” by Phoebe Bridgers
“Her lyrics really speak to specific emotions, especially sadness. You just feel so connected to a specific feeling. The way she writes is so amazing.”
Mrs. DeFrank - “Rainbow Kitten Surprise” by Rainbow Kitten Surprise
“I don’t know, I just really like that they’re kinda weird. I started listening to them because their name is so weird. One of my favorite songs is ‘American Juice.’”
Mr. Smith - “Aja” by Steely Dan
It’s a greatest hits album, and it’s absolutely flawless! There are absolutely no skips on the album, every single song is a greatest hit. It’s perfect.”
Madame Goldstein-Boag - “Thriller” by Michael Jackson
“The song ‘Billy Jean’ was so influential during my teenage years, I just loved it. It was especially significant in my music preferences and honestly music in general.”
