Seven things you didn't know about Ms. Profumo

Ms. Profumo’s favorite subject while in high school was English, what a shocker! If you’re looking for a book recommendation, try reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. That is Ms. Profumo’s favorite! Next, if she could describe her high school self in three words, she would say: “quiet, studious and silly”.

Ms. Profumo was at St. Philips the Apostle School in Pasadena before coming here and worked as support staff with grades kindergarten to eighth grade.

She came to Louisville because she had gone to an all-girls high school and wanted to take what she learned in her masters degree in library and information science to this environment.

Additionally, some fun hobbies Ms. Profumo has when she’s not on campus include reading and going to Dodger games (note: Dodger fans should go chat with her after exciting games!). She also loves to cook, especially savory dishes, and her favorite dish to make is pan enchiladas. If you are looking for a TV show recommendation, try “Schitts Creek”, one of Ms. Profumo’s favorites. Lastly, Ms. Profumo’s favorite dance move is named after her!

“They called it ‘The Rachel’ after me. You put one arm extended fully to the sky while the other arm does wave motions.”

Sounds pretty fun to me, ask her to demonstrate sometime and give her a warm welcome to Louisville!

A warm welcome to you all

Mr. Sanchez
