Summer is long gone and sweater weather is just beginning. However, the new year is around the corner and so are some perfectly normal spring 2023 fashion projections. We have seen low-rise jeans come and go but this upcoming spring will be completely different from every trend you have ever seen. Follow this absolutely amazing advice and you will be covered from head to toe in the hottest not-at-all-strange trends imaginable for the new year and look good doing it.
Baggy basketball shorts
Maybe Adam Sandler is a fashion icon because baggy shorts are so in.
Athleisure is quickly changing from Lululemon leggings and jackets to the best of Nike’s men’s section. While jorts are big on the scene, the classic basketball shorts are on the rise. They are affordable and one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing out there. Not to mention the incredible size, color and style selection.
You could be a trendsetter just by rocking a pair of knee length, neon green basketball shorts. They pair perfectly with your favorite pair of leggings for those colder days and the baggy fit gives leeway for a wonderful breeze in our southern California climate. These pants will be all the rage in just a few months.
Don’t be surprised if you notice your neighbor taking on the Adam Sandler style or your aunt sporting some big basketball shorts at your next family function. These incredible bottoms will be a must in your 2023 spring closet.
Quirky Prints
Fun patterns and bright colors are always trending because of their versatility, but what about galaxy and animal prints?
Galaxy print first gained popularity in the early 2000s then made a comeback in the 2010s. This print offers a relaxing vibe to your wardrobe as it has so many cool toned colors, perfect to ease into the spring season. The combination of stars and plants on all articles of clothing gives you so much room for creativity. If you ever want to switch it up, don’t be afraid to wear a cute t-shirt with your favorite pair of galaxy leggings.
Animal print has been around for much longer than galaxy print but it might never go out of style. It is too much of a staple to abandon the cheetah print lifestyle at this point. But why not embrace it now more than ever! Leopard and cheetah print will soon be all over shoes, bags and shirts before you know it. The best way to wear it, of course, is to pair it with your favorite galaxy print, too.
These two patterns look good individually, but look even better together.
Fingerless gloves
These may seem like a trend of the past, but they are sure to make a comeback.
It’s no surprise that gloves are needed on those chilly days, but they soon become inconvenient when you can’t use your phone properly. These gloves keep your hands warm while also keeping your look fresh. They are clean and cute and go with every outfit imaginable. A cute sweater with jeans? Absolutely. They work with skirts, pants, leggings, t-shirts, tank tops, crop tops, dresses and anything else you can find in your closet.

They offer a fun pop of color without disrupting the look you may be going for. They come in a variety of fabrics and designs too, ranging all the way from classic black mittens to elbow length fishnets. The possibilities are absolutely endless with these future additions to your wardrobe.
Toe Shoes
Do your feet ever get a little steamy on those hot summer days? Or maybe your socks just don’t feel quite the same anymore. The solution is so simple and it is coming your way this spring.
Toes shoes might come off as a little silly at first, but they truly pair with anything. A sleek pair of black toe shoes will soon be your best friend. Shoe fads come and go but in the end, it’s all a pair of the same plain sneakers. These shoes are sure to stay for the spring season. Not only are they incredibly cute, but they are also practical.
They are the perfect shoes for if you like hiking, but also if you want to go on a simple walk. Next time you go to the mall, don’t be surprised if you see a few of your classmates, coworkers or teachers wearing these comfortable and sporty shoes.
