Louisville High School has been filled with many truly inspiring women since its opening in 1960. Our senior class of 2024 is a huge part of the next generation of motivating women who are full of dreams for their futures and filled with kind-hearted advice for Louisville’s freshman class of 2027.

Hailey Koffman ’24 explained that she would like the freshman class to try and  break out of their comfort zones when it comes to extracurricular activities.

Koffman, an aspiring Physicians Associate, has applied to 21 universities so far. Her main applications include Northeastern University in Boston for behavioral neuroscience, UCLA for psychobiology and NYU for neuroscience.

She says she would like everyone to remember to always be open to the idea of things that may not have previously interested you.

Mary Piscatella '24, Angie Stephens '24, Natalie Pasco '24, Sienna Shores '24, Abby Leight '24, Hailey '24 Koffman and Kira Wright '24 practicing theur poses for theur final lvhs dance!

Kira Wright ’24 is another Louisville senior who gives her advice for freshmen, stating, “Stay true to yourself and don’t let people you want to be friends with change who you are. It’s never too late or too early for anything, and always remember, everything will be okay.”

Kira Wright, an aspiring political advocate, has always dreamed of attending USC with a major in political science. Around her sophomore year, Wright discovered her passion for working in Washington in the lobby of politics.

Natalie Pasco ’24 recommends that freshmen start their academic classes in sophomore and junior year so by the time you are a senior, everything will be easier for you.

Pasco, an aspiring doctor, has a dream of attending the Manoa Hawaii University and majoring in medical while minoring in business after attending community college for 2 years.

Sienna Shores ’24, who shared her social experience : “My freshman year was on zoom, so it was really hard to actually interact with people. Go up to new people and talk to them because you don't really know who someone is until you meet them in person.”

She would like to remind the freshman class to “stay true to who you are. In reality, your true friends will stick with you and will like you for you.”

Shores has not decided which career path she wants to pursue, but she sees her future experience at Manoa University in Hawaii as the perfect time to study many different fields, to find a way to express her creative side and to find her true passion.

Like the Louisville girls from the past, our class of 2024 shared some of their goals, achievements, future endeavors and advice to our freshman class of ’27. The Louisville girls from the past and present are inspirational for the future classes to come.
