Our spring spirit week was once again a fun-packed and pride-filled week. The lineup of themes was both unique as well as easily applicable to your own closet. Our ASB, as per usual, used their precious and brilliant minds to dream up this lovely and memorable week..
Day 1: Sports Day
Starting off spirit week was a day inspired by our two CIF wins from our show stopping soccer and basketball teams. Many students repped their favorite sports teams or their own. This was the day that nearly every single person dressed up, even if it was just a jersey. Some people went over the top with their outfits, including Allison Willig ’24 who sported her father’s football uniform from his time on the 49ers, even wearing his helmet.

Day 2: Coquette vs. Emo
On this Tuesday morning, by no surprise, I saw a swarm of people dressed in all black and oftentimes sporting a studded belt or bangs covering their eyes. The “coquette” girls were dressed to the brim in all pink, covered in bows like a freshly wrapped present. This day really required digging into the back of your closet for relics of an edgy past or your current ribbony
Day 3: Year 3000
A look into the future, or simply an homage to the Jonas Brothers. Either way, this day was a concept that people were able to truly make their own. Some people, such as Jordan Vaughn ’25, took inspiration from conspiracy theorists by sporting her self made tin foil cap. Whether you were dressed in all reflective metallic, or simply sporting a Jonas Brothers tour tee, you rocked it.

Day 4: Seasons Day
On Thursday, each grade level corresponded with a season of the year; Freshman being winter, Sophomores were Fall, Juniors had Summer, and our super Seniors were Spring. Our seniors dressed in fursuits and flowers, truly making spring proud. The ASB dressed up as a homage to Groundhog Day, including our very own Editor-In-Chief, Darcy Mullane, who dressed as Punxsutawney Phil himself.
Day 5: Pep Rally Day
Like every spirit week, this one ended with a fun packed pep rally, showcasing our spring sports and musical, “The Secret Garden.” Each grade level participated in a bounce house obstacle course, ending with bruised knees and lost hats. The spirit queen herself, Lily Rodriguez ’25, won the race, closely outracing Kira Wright ’24. The pep rally ended with an unveiling of our latest additions to the CIF banner collection.

We are all looking forward to the many more spirit weeks to come!
