Summer playlist

Girls Just Wanna Have Sun

Natalie Coulter '22

Editor-in-Chief

As the school year ends, our summer vacation begins. What good is summer without music to help create your main-character moments? The “Girls Just Wanna Have Sun” playlist is made entirely by suggestions from the Louisville community. It contains a fun mix of songs from our students and our faculty. Here are some highlights:

The top artists are…

Harry Styles, SZA, The Beach Boys, Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift!

Honorary mentions include Claire Rosenkranz, Pharrell Williams, BTS, Fleetwood Mac and Lana Del Ray.

The most requested songs are…

As It Was by Harry Styles, Party in the U.S.A by Miley Cyrus, Backyard Boy by Claire Rosenkranz, and Watermelon Sugar by Harry Styles!

The most abstract suggestion goes to…

Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata No. 14! Although it did not make it into the summer music playlist, the Moonlight Sonata still has a place in our hearts.

Congratulations on finishing this school year so strong! We will miss you Royals, and we hope you all have an amazing summer.
