On Thursday, April 17 2026, the ASB Elections for the next school year took place. Over the past month, candidates have been working endlessly on their declaration of candidacy, posters, videos and campaign booths, all in preparation for the big day!
Putting yourself out there is not an easy task, and that enough is a huge accomplishment. As a result of elections, the future ASB members are:
President: Anya Fierson
With her campaign “Be Fierce,” Anya took victory as president. After being the president for Sophomore Class Council, Anya has the leadership skills needed to take on such an important role in our school.
Vice President: Katie Specht
Katie knew she was ready to dive into this role of being the Vice President of ASB. Katie brings kindness, intelligence and communication skills to this role. Her outgoing personality and friendliness to others is truly special.
Secretary: Eden Arefaine
Eden brings three years of student council experience to the ASB table. With a personality perfect for a leader and advocate for her peers, we know Eden will do amazing things as secretary.
Spirit Chair: Emma Levy
We are looking forward to fun pep rallies and exciting spirit week themes from her creativity and enthusiasm.
Historian: Sara Newell
With Sara’s creativity and love for photography, the social media accounts and yearbooks will be filled with amazing photos captured at Louisville events.
Treasurer: Sophia Tejwani
Sophia brings previous experience of being treasurer for Junior Council. She is very attentive and knowledgeable, and I know we will all be able to rely on her!
Student Campus Minister: Ariella Gage
Ariella brings her faithful background and love for Louisville to her role as Campus Minister. We know she will perfectly lead Louisville through everyone’s faith journey.
Social Chair: Mia Romano
As you could tell from her video, Mia loves a good party. Her social, bubbly and fun personality will make her a great addition to ASB—especially as the social chair!
Parliamentarian: Arielle Soriano
Arielle brings experience with leadership through many things at Louisville. Her new role as parliamentarian is fitting to her outgoing personality and intelligence.
We are looking forward to the leadership values that you all will bring to ASB next year. Congratulations to everyone and great job to all candidates who worked so hard!
